Kim Raver, Kevin McKidd, Jessica Capshaw Promoted To ‘Grey's Anatomy' Series Regulars

Kim Raver, who created a few minor waves for Christina and Owen during the fall on "Grey's Anatomy" as Dr. Teddy Altman, is staying put.

A rep for ABC confirmed to Access Hollywood that Kim has gone from recurring character to series regular.

Kim joined the show in the fall as Dr. Altman, a cardio surgeon pal of Dr. Owen Hunt's (Kevin McKidd).

During her first few episodes, Teddy admitted she had serious feelings for Owen and said she previously held hopes he would call her if he was ever single. Christina Yang (Sandra Oh) found out Teddy was pining for Owen, but Owen reassured the surgeon-in-training that he only had eyes for her.

And although they have been central characters on "Grey's Anatomy" this season and last, Kevin and Jessica Capshaw, who plays Callie Torres' (Sara Ramirez) girlfriend, Dr. Arizona Robbins, were also made series regulars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
