‘Glee' Gang Gleeks Out Over Madonna & Rosie O'Donnell

The cast and crew of "Glee" are hitting high notes about the upcoming Madonna episode and the possibility of Rosie O'Donnell guest starring on the Golden Globe-winning comedy.

"We're doing a Madonna episode right now. We're shooting a tribute to Madonna," series creator Ryan Murphy told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

Cast member Mark Salling – who plays Puck on the series — told AccessHollywood.com's Laura "Dish of Salt" Saltman that one of the songs featured in the episode would be Madge's iconic "Like A Prayer." And, according to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, the pop star's song "Vogue" will also be featured in the episode.

Since the FOX comedy skyrocketed in popularity, Ryan said actors have calling to make an appearance on the series.

"[Actors] are lining up! Yes, they actually are actually," he said. "Which is very exciting!"

One of those stars knocking on "Glee's" door is Rosie O'Donnell, who revealed last week at the HBO Television Critics Association panel that she would love to join the FOX show in a cameo role where she could "fall in love and have a torrid affair" with Jane Lynch's cheerleading coach character (Sue Sylvester) – something that Jane would love to see become a reality.

"First of all Sue Sylvester will sleep with anybody in order to get the power," Jane told Access' Shaun Robinson on the 2010 Golden Globes red carpet.

"And not that you have to be just anybody with Rosie O'Donnell, she's quite a catch," she continued. "I would love it! I think she's one of the best comedic actors. I saw her on Broadway in a show just recently, and you know, you forget how wonderful of an actress she is."

Fellow cast member Lea Michele, who received a Globes nomination for Best Actress in a TV Comedy Series for her role as the uptight Rachel Berry, also "Gleek'ed" out over the idea of Rosie making a guest appearance.

"She's amazing. I love Rosie!" Lea told Laura at the InStyle/Warner Bros. Golden Globes after party on Sunday night.

But as far as the "torrid affair" with Sue Sylvester, Lea said that all lies in the hands of show creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy.

"Slip that in Ryan Murphy's ear and see what happens!" Lea added.

"Glee" will return with new episodes on April 13.
