Lady Gaga arrives at the launch of her new fragrance 'Fame' at Harrods Sunday, Oct. 7 in west London.
Lady Gaga visited WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy where he is seeking asylum.
According to The Australian, Gaga arrived at the embassy around 7 p.m. and stayed for five hours. Gaga had a meal with Assange and shared a photo with Assange on Twitter.
The embassy also happens to be stationed across the street from Harrods where Gaga promoted her new perfume "Fame."
Gaga may have gotten the idea from rapper M.I.A. who tweeted to Gaga: "if ur at harrods today, come visit Assange at the Ecuador embassy across the st. im there. ill bring TEA and CAKE." However, there is no proof M.I.A. indeed was present.
Gaga's visit comes after a judge's order that Assange's supporters pay up $150,000 they offered for the activist's bail, which he gave up when he sought asylum, according to Rolling Stone.
Gaga also made headlines recently with her upset stomach that interrupted her performance onstage in Barcelona.
