MC Hammer, who ruled the rap roost in the 1980s before going broke and becoming a punchline, is about to take a whack at Jay-Z for making fun of him in a Kanye West song.
“And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused/I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30/cause unlike Hammer, 30 million can’t hurt me,” Jay-Z raps in a cameo on West's new song "So Appalled."
Not funny, at least not to Hammer, real name Stanley Burrell.
“You wanted my attention #HellBoy (Jigga) you got it…” Hammer tweeted to his followers. “@kanyewest jay-hoe aka #HellBoy Tell Jay Oct 31(Devils Nite) We’ll see if this record and video ‘Hurt’s Him.’”
That's tweet/rap for "I have a new song coming out on Oct. 31 in which I will say unkind things about Jay-Z."
Hammer linked to a 36-second YouTube clip of himself boxing a punching bag. Underneath the video, the caption reads, “Slap the taste out them #HellBoys mouths…”
