Sarah Jessica Parker said she's pretty sure there's another “Sex and the City” film in her.
Speaking from the set of her new comedy, "I Don't Know How She Does It," Parker told the Times she’d be ready to do another film based on the TV hit in “maybe five years.”
She also shot down rumors “Sex and the City 3” could be a prequel featuring younger actresses.
"I was like, Wha-a-a-a-t?" she told the Times.
Parker, 45, conceded stories about 21-year-olds would be “important and interesting.”
“They prove to us on an everyday basis that they're interesting,” she said. “Even their narcissism is interesting. Even their inertia is interesting. Even their tonal speech patterns are interesting."
But Parker told the Times she didn’t think “we can pretend to go back.”
"It's creating two histories,” she said. “It's like, 'Oh I didn't know that about Carrie Bradshaw.'"
Parker isn’t the only “Sex” star to weigh in on whether there should be another film.
“The press killed it," Noth told a New York mag scribe at a movie premiere in September.
"It's like all the critics got together and said, 'this franchise must die,'” he said. “Because they all had the exact same review. It's like they didn't see the movie."
