Megan Fox Removing Marilyn Monroe Tat: “She is a Negative Character”

Actress Megan Fox's career has been a little snake-bitten lately - she famously quit/got fired from "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," and her last few non-Transformers roles have either tanked at the box office ("Jonah Hex," Jennifer's Body") or never even seen the inside of one ("Passion Play") - so you can forgive her for looking for help wherever she can find it.

And she seems to have found it on her arm.

Fox has long had a tattoo of Marilyn Monroe's face on her forearm, but the 25 year-old revealed during an interview with the Italian magazine "Amica" that she is having it removed because it's got some bad mojo.

"I'm removing it," she explains. "[She] is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life."

The actress also described how her recent foray into a strict vegan diet made her dangerously skinny, and how she's rebounding by eating a more well-rounded diet and training.

Maybe the "New Megan" plan will work - she's already scored a role in director Judd Apatow's "Knocked Up" spin-off "This is 40," starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann as their "Knocked Up" characters, the troubled married couple "Pete" and "Debbie."
