Get ready for your next guilty pleasure, and it's all set in North Texas.

Bravo on Wednesday announced "The Real Housewives of Dallas" is set to make its television debut next year. The network also announced another franchise addition, "The Real Housewives of Potomac," will premiere in January.

The "Housewives" franchise, which began with California's "Orange County" and has captivated audiences for nearly a decade, started filming a group of Dallas women about a year ago, according to Cynthia Smoot, who runs the "Oh So Cynthia" blog.

According to a press release for the show, Bravo said the series will certainly confirm that "everything — including the drama — is bigger in Texas."

"Let's face it, Dallas has a lot of big personalities," Smoot said.

For now, details on the cast are under wraps, but viewers can expect to see familiar Dallas places.

"I think for the people who live in Dallas it's going to be really fun to see, 'Where did they film this show?'" Smoot said. "For the people outside of Dallas, I mean, basically this is a free commercial for the city of Dallas."

Bravo is a property of NBC Universal, which is the parent company of NBCDFW.
