Kensington Palace Shares New Photo of Prince George Ahead of His Second Birthday

Prince George will turn two Wednesday, but Kensington Palace is celebrating a day early by releasing a new photo of the adorable tot. In the pic captured by Mario Testino (who also Instagrammed the image Tuesday), the tiny tot has a massive ear-to-ear grin while his dad tries to contain him in his arms. The shot was taken following Princess Charlotte's baptism.

The little royal has been keeping parents Prince William and Kate Middleton on their toes, as he's just starting to discover the world that's around him. George's dad opened up about life with him at home and said he's becoming incredibly energetic now that he has little sister to take care of.

"At the same time there is a lot of responsibility especially when George is around–he's been a little monkey," Prince William told reporters. "It's no more difficult than what everyone else has to do."

Even though George has been a "little monkey" these days, life at home couldn't be better for the royal family. Now that they're a family of four, could they already be thinking of expanding their brood?

"It is fantastic having a lovely little family and I am so thrilled. And Catherine has been doing an amazing job as a mother and I'm very proud of her," Prince William said. "We've only just had the second one. You never know what is going to happen in the future."

Now that he's a big brother and his parents are incredibly busy with Charlotte, Prince William's mini-me has been spotted hanging out with his grandmother, Carole Middleton.

They were seen spending some quality time together at Bucklebury Farm Park, where George visited the petting zoo and even scored a ride on his grandma's shoulders. The always-fashionable tot wore an aqua colored jumper, a white shirt, shorts and converse shoes for the day out. With his outfits constantly selling out, we can't wait to see what he wears for his special day Wednesday.
