It will be a boy band bonanza if this reunion comes to pass.
Justin Timberlake and the remaining members of famed '90s band 'NSync are apparently set to reunite for a performance this Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards, according to the New York Post.
MTV previously announced that Timberlake will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and also perfrom during the ceremony, and now the NY Post has been told that former bandmates Joey Fatone, J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick are scheduled to join the "SexyBack" singer onstage for a reunion performance.
Timberlake's nominations include video of the year, best male video and pop video for "Mirrors." The 20/20 Experience crooner is tied with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for the most nominations, with six each.
Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke are also scheduled to perform.
The MTV VMAs will air live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Sunday Aug. 25, 2013.
