Jesus Seen On Drop Cloth

A man says he saw Jesus Christ on a drop cloth he used while spray painting his shutters at his home in Saugus, Mass. "I can't deny this. This is what it is. It looks like Jesus Christ," painter Brian Krantz said.

Dramatic SoCal Police Pursuits

Southern California is notorious for its police pursuits. Recent months have seen a remarkable assortment of chases, from the infamous "money toss," to the man huffing on colorful balloons as police close in, to the pink-hoodied driver who sprinted from a getaway car while talking on her cell phone. As the moments from eight recent chases captured here illustrate, car chases defy logic and common sense, putting the police and the public at risk.

Prosecutors say two men accused of plotting to rob and kill soul singer Joss Stone planned to decapitate her, then dump her body in a river.

The suspects, Junior Bradshaw and Kevin Liverpool, were arrested in June 2011, close to the singer's house after suspicious neighbors reported them to police. They never reached her house.

Opening the case at Exeter Crown Court, prosecutor Simon Morgan told a jury the pair, aged 32 and 35, set off from their home in Manchester with a samurai sword, knives, a hammer, black bags and gloves for Stone's house in Devon.

Morgan said that handwritten notes found in the suspects' car indicated they planned to decapitate the singer before finding a river to dispose of her body.

The defendants deny all charges.
