‘Mayhem' Miller Arrested on Charges of Tattoo Shop Vandalism

Mixed martial arts fighter Jason "Mayhem" Miller is behind bars for allegedly vandalizing an Orange County tattoo parlor earlier this year, authorities said Wednesday.

Miller, who has had several run-ins with the law, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant stemming from an incident at Muirlands Boulevard and El Toro Road in Lake Forest, according to Lt. Mark Stichter of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The tattoo parlor is no longer in business, and the nature of the vandalism was not immediately released.

Miller pleaded not guilty to a vandalism charge Wednesday, prosecutors said. His bail was set at $1 million.

He was set to appear in court again on Thursday.

Miller has been previously arrested for domestic violence, driving under the influence and fighting with police officers.

In 2012, he was arrested for breaking into a Mission Viejo church, spray-painting and setting off fire extinguishers while naked.

Two years later, Miller live-tweeted a bizarre standoff with SWAT officers at his home when deputies arrived to arrest him on a domestic violence warrant.

He was arrested in 2015 for assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly threatening sheriff’s deputies with a fire extinguisher and a metal pole during a confrontation at his Mission Viejo home.

Miller remains behind bars in lieu of $1 million bail. Information on an attorney for Miller was not immediately available.
