Love for Leo: Oscar Win-Inspired Mural in LA Says ‘Never Never Give Up'

In La-La Land, where dreams are made and lost, a new mural is drawing on Leonardo DiCaprio's big Oscar win to offer passers-by some inspiration.

Down on La Brea Avenue at Dockweiler Street near the Miracle Mile (map), a larger-than-life street art piece plastered on the side of a white wall shows a smiling DiCaprio holding his golden statuette next to the words "Never Never Give Up."

This comes after his first win for best actor at the Academy Awards for his role in the wilderness epic, "The Revenant." He had been nominated several times before.

It's not immediately clear who created the mural. According to a worker at a neighboring business, the building houses a painting company and the wall has been used to display other messages in the past, including the Je Suis Charlie hashtag following last year's shooting attack in Paris.
