Late night hosts took on Obama's State of the Union address, using the opportunity to make some political humor.
LENO
Jay Leno began with a joke involving the A&E hit show "Duck Dynasty."
"Earlier tonight, President Obama gave his State of the Union address," Leno said, "or as Fox News calls it 'Lame Duck Dynasty'."
Then, Leno took on the president's signature healthcare law.
"I understand the speech earlier tonight was kind of a mixed message," he said. "The bad news is these days Americans are getting screwed, but the good news is while you're getting screwed Obamacare will pay for the birth control."
The "Tonight Show" host also joked about Congress and their lack of productivity.

"In his speech earlier tonight President urged Congress to raise the minimum wage," Leno said. "Now don't confuse that with congressional minimum wage: see, thats doing the minimum for your wage."
Another target of Leno's recap was Obama's underwhelming approval ratings.
"This was a very important speech for the president and he gave it at a time that he is losing support from his own party," Leno said. "In fact, congressional democrats were warned tonight if they didn't applaud the president's speech, he would go out and campaign for them."
Leno also gave audiences some trivia about the speech, capped with a joke about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
"Do you know the speech is also called 'Date Night on Capitol Hill'?" Leno asked. "Senators and House members pair up as dates. They pair up with someone from the other party and sit next to each other during the president's speech. They try to sit next to someone the complete opposite of what they are. For example, Harry Reid sat next to someone who is alive."
Finally, Leno claimed that politicians were desperate to appeal to younger voters. He played a doctored clip of the president's speech, with Vice President Joe Biden wearing Pharrell Williams' much-discussed hat at the Grammys and Speaker of the House John Boehner wearing a helmet reminiscent of Daft Punk.
FALLON
Jimmy Fallon began his recap of the speech with a joke about one of the unexpected guests of the event.
"Just three weeks after the Bridgegate scandal, the mayor of Fort Lee, New Jersey was invited to attend that speech," the "Late Night" host said. "Then he heard that Chris Christie was like 'good luck getting there.'"
Fallon then made a joke comparing the George Washington Bridge Scandal to Washington.
"Actually, that mayor should feel at right home in Congress since there are a whole bunch of gridlock people there angry at the guy in front of them," Fallon said.
LETTERMAN
On the "Late Show With David Letterman," the host didn't seem too excited about the SOTU address.
"Oh man, it's the last pointless event until the Super Bowl," Letterman said.
However, Letterman praised a phony new policy from the Obama administration.
"He has a new program, he announced a new program 'No Bieber Left Behind'," Letterman said.
Letterman also told a story about his odd experience watching the speech.
"I'm watching at home with my dog. We click on the state of the union address, my dog sits on the remote control and I had to watch the whole thing in Spanish. That's a true story," Letterman said.
KIMMEL
On "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the late night host chose to focus on the ignorance of Americans rather than the president.
"President Obama gave a State of the Union address tonight. I think people pretend to care about this but don't," Kimmel said.
Then, he explained that his camera crew hit the street and asked people how they felt about Obama's speech. Although the address hadn't taken place, people still pretended to know what happened during the event.
"I thought it was powerful. I think he laid out a lot of the same policies he has been laying out all along," one pedestrian said.
"I liked that he addressed what everyone was talking about," another said.
