Kerry Washington has added another little warrior to her brood.
E! News has exclusively learned that the "Scandal" star and hubby Nnamdi Asomugha have welcomed their second child together. The actress gave birth to a baby boy, Caleb Kelechi Asomugha, on Oct. 5. Other details were not immediately available.
E! News confirmed Washington's second pregnancy in May, after her baby bump was on display while attending the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C. Kerry and Nnamdi's happy news came as the proud parents continue to raise daughter Isabelle away from the public eye.
The Hollywood couple are known to keep their personal life very private, but the celebrity couldn't help but talk at least a little bit about how amazing motherhood has been.
"I will say I feel really, really blessed," Kerry gushed to the Los Angeles Times in one of her first interviews after welcoming her first child. "I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life."
Along with the excitement of Washington's second pregnancy, speculation began to stir as to whether or not writers will be including her baby bump into Olivia Pope's story line for season six. However, when E! recently caught up with the star, that didn't seem to be the plan.
"As far as I know, we're going to be hiding things," she told E! News at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Golf Classic in June. "But stay tuned!"
Congratulations to the happy family.
