"Game of Thrones" may be leading the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards with 23 nominations, but it was presenter Anthony Anderson who stole the announcement show Thursday morning.

The "black-ish" star earned a best male actor in a comedy series nod for the show. But, before his co-host, "Gilmore Girls" star Lauren Graham, could finish pronouncing his name, Anderson belted an exuberant "wooh."

"Hi mama!" Anderson shouted, waving frantically at the camera. "I know you're watching!"

    His elation didn't end there.

Anderson delivered another dose of enthusiasm when his "black-ish" co-star Tracee Ellis Ross was nominated for best actress in a comedy series, and then again for the critically acclaimed show's best comedy series nomination.

The "black-ish" star received the show's sole 2015 nomination for best comedy actor. Anderson's TV son, actor Marcus Scribner, congratulated his "dad" and "mom," Ross, for their well-deserved nominations.
