'America's Got Talent': 90-Year-Old's Burlesque Dance Gets Golden Buzzer

A 90-year-old burlesque dancer from Hawaii fulfilled a lifetime dream of "being a star" Tuesday night when she was showered with gold confetti on "America's Got Talent."

"I want to prove that you're never to old to follow your dreams," Dorothy Williams said as she stepped out in front of the judges.

As "Let Me Entertain You" from Gypsy began to play, the widow from Hilo swayed her hips and flirted with her red feather boa before flinging off her red skirt and unhooking her sequined bustier to reveal shorts and a tasseled top.

Williams' striptease left the judges and audience alike in awe, earning a standing ovation from both.

"All I have to say is, your 90 years old, good for you. Good for you," judge Mel B. said.

"I absolutely love you. That was really, really special," Klum said.

Cowell expressed his fascination with the dancer, but not without some criticism. "I think we need to work a little bit more on the tassels," Cowell added.

Host Nick Cannon, who also praised Williams for her dance, decided to break the show's rules by passing her through to the live episodes. "America's Got Talent" allows for each judge to hit the coveted golden buzzer one time during the auditions. And unfortunately, all four judges had already used it once for a contestant.

"You know what, I don't care. I'm going to break the rules," Cannon said, running to the judges table and pushing the golden buzzer.

And just like that, a star is born.
