You get an iPad, you get an iPad, you get an iPad.
Oprah Winfrey has lavished her latest "favorite thing" on those responsible for maintaining her media empire.
In celebration of the tenth anniversary of "O" Magazine, Winfrey rewarded each member of the pub's staff -- veterans and newbies alike -- with a brand new iPad, along with a check for $10,000, Advertising Age reported. The number of employees at the magazine was not reported.
"These were personal gifts to the staff from Oprah to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the magazine," a Hearst spokesperson told AdAge.
"You get a car, you get a car, you get a car," Winfrey famously said then.
The billionaire talk show queen's past on-air giveaways of so-called “favorite things” has garnered instant exposure for a host of products, and been dubbed the “Oprah Effect.”
Winfrey has announced she will end her ratings-busting talk show in 2011 after 25 years on network airwaves and will pursue her own cable TV network.
