Michael Jackson's Custom-Made Furniture Going to Auction

Elaborate furnishings were going to be used in a London home during "This Is It" tour

When Michael Jackson traveled, he did it in style.

Before his death, the legendary singer ordered 22 pieces of custom-made furniture to grace a London pad during his "This Is It" comeback tour in England.

Now, the elaborate furnishings will be auctioned in June and are expected to fetch anything from $16,500 to $150,000 per item, according to Reuters.

Darren Julien of Julien's Auctions said a gilded red velvet sofa that seats nine, a leopard-print chair trimmed with ostrich feathers and a pair of velvet armchairs embroidered with gold eagles are among the offerings that were commissioned by Jackson from an Italian luxury furniture maker called Colombostile, according to reports.

Another gaudy item is a leather armchair decorated with crystals and gold leaf.

Fans will be able to see a re-creation of the home at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood casino in June before the auction there. There will also be a similar display in Ireland.

The auction will also include items from Jackson's life and career. According to Reuters, a signed jacket that he wore for "Beat It," white crystal gloves and paintings from Neverland Ranch will also be available for bidding.

According to the Associated Press, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to two charities; one benefits struggling musicians while the other seeks to end world hunger.
