Kevin Smith, a.k.a. "Silent Bob," was kicked off of a Southwest Air flight because he did "not fit safely and comfortably in one seat," according to the airline. The actor/director tweeted a series of angry messages, including this photo with the message: "Hey @SouthwestAir! Look how fat I am on your plane! Quick! Throw me off!"

Kevin Smith is not happy about being called a "safety risk."

The "Cop Out" director, who has over 1.6 million Twitter followers, issued a flurry of Tweets on Saturday aimed at Southwest Airlines over claims of being thrown off a flight.

"Dear @SouthwestAir - I know I'm fat, but was Captain Leysath really justified in throwing me off a flight for which I was already seated?" he began. "[He] deemed me a 'safety risk.' Again: I'm way fat… But I'm not THERE just yet.

"I broke no regulation, offered no 'safety risk' (what, was I gonna roll on a fellow passenger?). I was wrongly ejected from the flight… And f*** your apologetic $100 voucher," he continued.

The director, known for his thick frame as the character "Silent Bob" in movies he also wrote and directed such as "Clerks" and "Mallrats," Tweeted that he wound up on another Southwest flight without incident.

"And, hey? @SouthwestAir? I didn't even need a seat belt extender to buckle up. Somehow, that s*** fit over my 'safety concern'-creating gut," he Tweeted.

For the airline's part, on its official Twitter, it stated on Saturday night that Smith would be "getting a call at home from our Customer Relations VP tonight," also Tweeting that it was "very sorry for the experience you had tonight."

"Cop Out," which stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, is due in theaters on February 26.
