Jon Voight Joins Jolie-Pitts In Venice For Family Reunion

Jon Voight and daughter Angelina Jolie have reunited.

The father-daughter pair was photographed in Italy on Sunday joining Brad Pitt and the couple's brood for a ride down Venice's Grand Canal.

The globe-trotting family has made its way to Italy as Angelina prepares to shoot her next film, "The Tourist," co-starring Johnny Depp.

The photos arrive following a report last November that Jon, 70, had reconciled with his superstar daughter after a multi-year estrangement.

"We're in touch, but not regularly," Jon told Us Weekly at the time. "We love each other and that's the most important thing."

In 2007, the actor issued a statement to People saying he'd "tried to mend this relationship."

"I continuously send them my heart and love and I'm always available to them for whatever they may need from me," he said at the time of Angelina and her brother, James Haven.

And in January, it was Jon who came to Brad & Angelina's defense amid rumors the couple was on the rocks.

"Nonsense," Jon told Access. "It's all made-up stuff."
