Estefan Bullet Jewelry Causes Airport Security Breach

Airport security in London confiscate Gloria Estefan's bullet jewelry

It's not often Gloria Estefan and Snoop Doggy Dogg can be mentioned in the same breath, but the two music stars apparently have the same taste in controversial jewelry.

Earlier this week, airport security in London had to confiscate Estefan's "Bullets 4 Peace" pendant because the exclusive piece actually has real bullets in it. The same thing happened to Snoop in Beirut last month.

The pendant was actually designed for people who wanted to show their support for peace keeping efforts around the globe while remaining stunningly fashionable. The bullet casings, collected by designer Rafi Anteby, are reportedly from war zone areas.

Luckily, Estefan's most valuable fan in this instance, the pilot of the flight, decided the Dolphin's exec was not a terrorist looking to take over the plane and held on to the precious piece of bling until they landed in Italy.

So for those keeping score; no scissors, liquids, knives or bullet jewelry allowed on a plane. Keep it in your checked bags.

We smell a Snoop-Estefan duet coming soon.
