Former Clinic Worker Files Lawsuit Against Lindsay Lohan

The lawsuit stems from allegations involving a Dec. 12 confrontation with a worker at the Betty Ford Center

A former Betty Ford Center worker asked for $1 million in damages in a lawsuit filed Thursday against actress Lindsay Lohan.

The employee, Dawn Bradley, claimed Lohan assaulted her when she was undergoing treatment at the facility. Bradley claimed the alleged assault resulted in "great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering.''

The confrontation occurred Dec. 12, according to the lawsuit. Bradley was fired from the Betty Ford Center after discussing the incident on camera with celebrity website TMZ.

Prosecutors in Riverside County have declined to charge Lohan with battery.

The filing comes on the same day the 25-year-old actress was in court for a progress report regarding terms of her probation.
