The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services visited actress Halle Berry’s residence Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division.

The visit comes a day after a judge denied a request by Berry’s former nanny for a stay-away order against the Oscar winner’s ex-boyfriend. Model Gabriel Aubry allegedly pushed Alliance Kamdem into a door while she was holding the former couple’s daughter, according to a police report.

Berry reportedly asked the judge to halt communication between Aubry, 36, and 3-year-old Nahla until the issue was resolved.

It is common practice for child protective services to visit and interview parents when claims of abuse or neglect have been reported, law enforcement told TMZ.

“I was terrified,” said Kamdem Tuesday in reference to the incident during a sworn declaration. “The push was so forceful that if there had not been a wall behind me to stop the force of my movement, I would have fallen down with Nahla in my arms.”

The shove was a reaction to an argument that reportedly began when Kamdem asked Aubry why the child hadn’t been in school. The model allegedly called Kamdem, “a nobody.”

Aubry is being investigated for child endangerment and battery in connection with the altercation, published reports stated.
