Divorced in 2002, they're reconciling, says People

Britney Spears' parents divorced in 2002, but they're back together now, according to a report.

"They are back together and are doing well and happy,” a source told People magazine. “[They’re] not remarried but back together.”

Lynne and Jamie married in 1975, six years before the birth of their superstar daughter. They divorced in 2002. just three years after Britney hit it big with her "Baby One More time" album.

Now, the starmakers' romance appears to be back on.

“They were in a great mood together,” the witness told the mag. “They were laughing together – dancing and laughing [and] totally having fun.”

Lynne and Jamie have three children – Bryan, Britney and Jamie.

Reps for the pop star parents did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Access Hollywood on the new report.
