NASA's Dramatic Earth Images at Night

A continental capture of the United States. The new data from NASA was mapped over existing Blue Marble imagery of Earth to provide a realistic view of the planet, made possible by the new "day-night band" of the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS).
