“Tijuana Innovadora: Showcasing and Celebrating Major Contributions Produced in Tijuana”

For the first time ever, Tijuana, Mexico will have the opportunity to showcase its inventions to various major industry leaders and global CEO’s. Tijuana Innovadora 2010 is a two-week expo held October 7- 21, at the Centro Cultural Tijuana, an arts in cultural complex in the tourist Rio neighborhood. Each day of the event will focus on a single issue, such as automotive, education, entertainment, aerospace and electronics, where products manufactured in Tijuana have made significant contributions to the industry. Companies who produce high-tech products in the region will have the opportunity to display their work, participate in panel discussions with industry leaders, and attend presentations by some of the world’s leading innovators.
 
Scheduled speakers include former Vice President Al Gore, Qualcomm’s CEO Paul Jacobs and Tesuo Agata, the CEO of Toyota Manufacturing in North America. English to Spanish translation, and vise versa, will be available to aid in communications during all sessions. Business and civil leaders created the event to highlight the community’s achievements in technology, science, and culture.
