    2010 San Diego Latino Film Festival March 11th-21st

    2010 marks the 17th year that  The Media Arts Center of San Diego, Changing Live Through Film brings us the San Diego Latino Film Festival. MACSD is a non profit organization that  works to aide under-served communities learn technology skills, media literacy and preserve culture through community-based story-telling.
    This year the festival will screen over 180 diverse  films beginning March 11 through the 21st.  SDLFF 2010 will celebrate Mexico’s Bicentennial with incredible featured films as well as animated shorts.  Also to be showcased, the talents of many gifted female filmmakers in Cine Mujer.  As well as experimentals in categories like Venezuelan Cinema; Cine Gay, Comedy and much more. 
    Another reason to join the 20,000 who are expected to attend the festival this year;  all profits at the SDLFF will benefit youth media education programs. The Festival will be based at UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center, with lots of parties and events supplementing the film screenings over the festival's eleven day run.  Be sure to come out and commemorate this momentous occasion of exceptional cinematic achievement as the longest-running Latino Festival in Southern California.
