Muggles, rejoice! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter may soon be coming to Southern California.
NBCUniversal (which owns NBC San Diego) is thinking of adding a section to its Los Angeles theme park devoted entirely to all-things Potter, Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
The park would have all the fan favorites, including a Hogwarts castle, Hog’s Head tavern and most important: butterbeer. The new addition would be modeled after Orlando’s popular park, which has had thousands of visitors since opening 18 months ago.
Insiders told WSJ that NBCUniversal may continue to expand more parks worldwide based on the franchise’s continued success.
With a castle on each coast of the U.S., a new park would give SoCal dwellers a reason to trek to LA for a magical experience.
