Experience Colonial Life on the Star of India

This summer at the Maritime Museum of San Diego, you can experience what life was like for colonists who lived on the world’s oldest, active sailing ship, The Star of India.

QUALITY TIME WITH THE FAMILY:  Family Sleepovers on board the Star of India are a great way to create memorable bonds with family and friends this summer. Dinner and breakfast will be provided aboard the oldest, active sailing ship in the world. You will also have the opportunity to set sail, move cargo, and stand watch, just like a real crew member from the 19th century.

BREEZY SAFETY: The boat does not leave the dock, so you and your family won’t have to worry about getting seasick. Also, the museum forbids any children under the age of 6 from participating.

RESERVE YOUR BUNK TODAY: There are only two weekends that this fantastic journey is available: July 23rd-24th, and August 13th-14th. Due to the popularity of this specific voyage, spots will sell out quickly. Spots are available at $55 for museum members, and $70 for non-members. The museum is located on the North Embarcadero in downtown San Diego at 1492 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. For more information on reservations, please call 619-234-9153 ext. 124, or visit the museum’s website at www.sdmaritime.org.
