WHAT A MESH: Target has been the staging ground for lots of successful couture-meets-commoner fashion experiments, with its last foray being a flouncy, girly line by Rodarte.
In its latest attempt at high fashion collaboration, Target has teamed up with Jean-Paul Gaultier for a collection that is slightly less celebrated, but not without its successes. Among the high notes are lingerie-inspired tanks and slip dresses, draped separates and a pretty cool-looking leather jacket.
Though some of the fits and fabrics are a little non-conformist, and the trademark tattoo mesh print can be a challenge to coordinate, it's worth checking out the line for yourself if you'd like to add a little bit of JPG to your wardrobe.
