NOT JUST FOR PANDAS: Have you tried bamboo clothing yet? If not, you're really missing out. Fabrics made from bamboo are incredibly soft and breathable, and surprisingly affordable, too.
Local clothier Chica-Bu fell in love with bamboo, and wanted to find a way to bring it to babies in a special way. As such, she teamed up with a group of older women in Rosarito who have mastered the art of Brazilian dimensional hand embroidery to create unique and luxurious dresses, blankets, onsies and other accessories for babies and toddlers.
Not only does the company produce sweet clothes for your little ones, but they also help to provide income for people who otherwise could not work. Plus, a portion of each sale goes to Friends of El Faro, a charity that helps to feed, shelter and educate orphan children in Mexico.
