Concerts are resuming at Sycuan Casino after a two-year hiatus.
Sycuan Casino brings back concerts beginning with country singer/songwriter Glen Campbell. The Rhinestone Cowboy will perform two shows (8 p.m. on Oct. 22, 4 p.m. on Oct. 23), inside the Showcase Theater.
Aaron Lewis of the band Staind will play two acoustic shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 6. Comedians Cheech and Chong will bring their Get It Legal tour on Nov. 13, performing at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Filipino-born and singer/songwriter Martin Nievera will perform two shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Dec. 17.
The 450-capacity Showcase Theatre is located inside the casino and offers a live and up-close experience, according to Michael Ehrlich, a casino employee
“This is not a concert series," Ehrlich said. "It’s ongoing, and we are working with other artists to perform here.”
Tickets for Campbell and Martin Nievera are $35 or $45; seats for Aaron Lewis and Cheech and Chong costs $45 or $55. Tickets are on sale now; Club Sycuan members will get 20 percent off ticket prices.
