Download of the Wednesday

Every Wednesday, thanks to the generosity of our friends in the local music community, we share free music on SoundDiego, with the Download of the Wednesday.

Today we present an American indie electronica band based out of San Diego, Calif., called Goddamn Electric Bill.  Formed in 2004 by sole band member Jason Torbert, GDEB has been nominated for three San Diego Music Awards, released two full-length albums on London’s 99X/10 Records (run by the former keyboardist for the Cure, Roger O’Donnell) and licensed music for television and film.

Recently, Torbert ventured to the 2010 Sundance Film festival, where his music was featured in an official submission. The film, entitled Douchebag, was written and directed by Drake Doremus, the man behind Goddamn Electric Bill's latest video, "Ten Thousand Years," off the album Topics For Gossip.
