Sounds Like San Diego: Jan. 23

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Pinback, and Celso Pina top Wednesday's live-music action in SD

If you're hoping to head to the Casbah anytime soon, then tonight is your night. For the time being, there are still some tickets left for tonight's Pinback show, but their show tomorrow and the next two nights after that (for Transfer and No Knife) are all sold out. And I misspoke yesterday, because tonight is actually the third sold-out night of Trombone Shorty at the Belly Up. Meanwhile, Dutch band Mozes & the Firstborn have their Burger Records debut coming out on Friday, but you can see them tonight at Soda Bar while musica norteña artist Celso Pina plays at the Observatory North Park. It's hard to believe it's only Wednesday, but hopefully some of tonight's great shows will help you get over the hump.
