Black Lips will roll into San Diego later this month.

#MusicMonday = a hashtag /meme for tweeting what you're listening to each Monday.

For the purposes of SoundDiego, in addition to taking the question "to the streets" (coming soon), we will share a song from an act set to appear in San Diego. First up, Black Lips with "Drugs":

Not to be confused with the Black Keys, Black Lips are a self-proclaimed "flower punk," or psychedelic-punk, garage band hailing from Atlanta. Formed in 2000 while still in high school, they've released five independent albums, and their latest, 2009's 200 Million Thousand, is as manic as their live shows.

Known for their outrageous (or drunken) stage antics, Black Lips have incorporated fireworks, remote-control cars, nudity, flaming guitars and um, vomiting into their set.

Black Lips will perform at the Casbah on Jan. 24. Attend at your own risk.
