Country superstar Brad Paisley, who will brings his H2O 2010 World Tour to San Diego County on Friday, is teaming up with Live Nation to collect food and water to benefit the San Diego Food Bank.

Paisley, along with Darius Rucker of Hootie & the Blowfish fame and Justin Moore are touring together to bring attention to unclean and unsafe water around the world.

One lucky fan who donates the most canned food or water to the San Diego Food Bank will win a pair of tickets to the show and a meet-and-greet with Paisley. Donations are being accepted between 2:30-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17. Donors may use the west or east entrances near the box offices to drop off their nonperishable items.

The San Diego Food Bank fed more than 340,000 people in 2009, and that number has increased significantly this year due to the economic recession.

H2O tour begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, at Cricket Wireless. Tickets are still available.
