Jay-Z Coming to San Diego

The Magna Carter World Tour is making a stop at Valley View Casino Center.

Yeezus may have passed over San Diego, but rap fans will be receiving an even better consolation prize: Jay-Z's Magna Carter World Tour will be making a stop at the Valley View Casino Center on Dec. 7.

Tickets for the hip-hop heavyweight's show will go on sale Thursday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. and are limited to eight per person.

The music mogul will be hitting 34 cities on the tour. Discussing a recent show, Entertainment Weekly said that "Jay-Z paced the stage with a studied nonchalance, pouring all his energy into his explosive, bull's eye accurate rhymes."

If you want to get in on the VIP presale action, hit Mr. Carter's Facebook before Sept. 11. For complete presale details visit www.citiprivatepass.com.

Hip-hoppers, of course, are hoping for special guests, and would love to see anybody from Jay-Z's wife, Beyonce, to recent touring partners Kanye West and Justin Timberlake. No matter what, every rhymesayer in San Diego shouldn't miss this massive and historic concert.
