Sounds Like San Diego: September 9

Heads up, San Diego: A ton of great live music is onboard for Friday night

Alrighty beautiful people of San Diego, the weekend is here and there is enough much goodness to go around for everyone. For starters, I love bands with strong political convictions, so when Mana revealed that they specifically booked their tour to convince their American fans the importance of their votes in the presidential election, I loved them even more. Another big tour of the summer is at Sleep Train with 5 Seconds of Summer and you should definitely bring ear plugs if you hope to preserve your hearing into adulthood. In the meantime, our friends Big Bad Buffalo play their record release show at Lestat's, Casbah goes deep industrial with Assemblage 23, the Midnight Pine host their CD release at Moniker Warehouse, and Work Drugs bring the party to Soda Bar.
