Sounds Like San Diego: September 9

So let's rewind. For years, there was a bar on Morena Boulevard called O'Connell's. And O'Connell's had its place in the music scene, but when it changed hands and became the Griffin, it was kind of exciting. It was cool to envision the possibilities. There were some epic nights there, for sure, with great live music, some touring and some local acts. Well, one of the guys behind the scenes bringing shows to the venue was Joe at Arsenal Concerts. When the Griffin decided they no longer wanted to play the live venue game, Joe had to look deep and hard to see his next move. In doing so, he looked right under our noses at the Merrow. It was being booked, sure, but certainly not nightly. And with such a great stage, walls knocked out since its Sports Club days, it was a venue ripe for some new blood. Enter Arsenal Concerts. He's brought back the 91x Loudspeaker Tuesdays that were hosted by Halloran, and thisevening, they have a great lineup of locals to keep you entertained on a school night. A chance to see and be seen by others in the local scene and a guy named Halloran with the power to play your music on the radio. Think of the great music right alongside your networking opportunities.
