Sounds Like San Diego: September 8

The Last Internationale make sonic waves at the Casbah

What an exciting weekend we had in San Diego. If you're like so many of us and actually have to work on weekends, fret not, as the Last Internationale has you covered tonight at the Casbah. Described as a "strikingly fervent, politically-charged rock band," the band has played many festivals of late, including Lollapalooza, and they've opened for artists ranging from Neil Young to Weezer to Kings of Leon. With the Eeries just added to this bill, this is going to be a heck of a show and should make for a great Monday night. Meanwhile, Belly Up welcomes the Shinys! Shiny Toy Guns broke out with their super-catchy electro-pop in the early 2000s, and they haven't stopped. They're always a great show, and because it's the Belly Up, you won't be out too late for this one.
