The Blasters headline the Casbah on Saturday, Sept. 5.

There's a lot happening this Saturday, so all lovers of music unite and catch a show. Awesome Fest continues with killer lineups at the Office and U-31 in the afternoon, then it moves back to Soda Bar and the Hideout by nightfall. The Blasters return to the Casbah for some good ol' rock & roll, and the Dickies are sure to bring some mayhem to Brick By Brick. There's some house shows, Che Cafe is in full swing, and Australian Pink Floyd light up the Open Air Theatre. On the acoustic front, Java Joe's is hosting an epic lineup of San Diego's finest singer/songwriters, and if want to keep it local, Neighbors to the North have your back at the Merrow.
