San Diego kicks off Restaurant Week, so why not try a snazzy restaurant prix fixe menu, then head out for a show. At the Casbah, you can get down with LA psych-rockers Wand, or see the return of Bonobo to the Observatory, which should have the whole room dancing. British singer/songwriter Dan Croll closes his tour at the Irenic tonight, and it's his first San Diego show in over four years, so who's to say when your next chance will be to see him. For lovers of classic hip-hop, Rakim plays House of Blues, and for my hardcore and straight edge friends of yesteryear, Far's Jonah Mantranga plays a free show at Whistle Stop. That's a pretty remarkable Sunday if you ask me.
