Today is gonna be a long day. I'm excited but also exhausted just thinking about it. At Golden Hill Park, join the wacky bike parade and catch the Kolars (featuring Rob Kolar and his tap-dancing/drumming wife, Lauren, of He's My Brother, She's My Sister). Then, head over to Adams Avenue to catch dozens of your favorite local acts, including Subsurfer, the Bassics, the Little Richards, Manual Scan, Trouble in the Wind and more. After that, you have to choose to stay late for bands like Mrs. Magician and B-Side Players, or split to catch another show around town, like the final Bay Sessions at Loews Coronado Bay Resort with the Silent Comedy, Bloc Party at the Observatory or the return of the MacAnanys, who make an appearance at the Merrow. There's so much to do today, so pace yourself, stay hydrated, slather on that SPF and enjoy my favorite weekend in San Diego.
