Sounds Like San Diego: September 20

It appears that after a busy weekend with touring bands, tonight is mostly an all local night with the usual residencies in place and Anti-Monday League offering a great mix of bands, however if you would like to see an out of town band, you can head up to Solana Beach for the Southwest tunes of Calexico, an indie/alt-country band out of Arizona. Their recording career has spanned over a decade and though I've only seen the band a couple of times before, their music can transport you to an open desert sky full of stars and the magic that can await you there. The organic feeling of the Belly Up is always my favorite place to see bands with a little bit of twang.

  • Anti-Monday League Presents: Taming The Fox, Echo Revolution, Byron Blocker & The Offbeats, Deluka @ Casbah
