    NEWSLETTERS

We hope everyone had a great weekend of awesome music all over town. On Tuesday, there are definitely some shows of interest, and we think you should prepare yourself for a big night of fun. At the Merrow, our friend Nicky Venus performs with Island Boy and Bakkuda, while Soda Bar hosts a killer lineup with Hills Like Elephants, Ed Ghost Tucker and Amerikan Bear. Meanwhile, we thought we would spread the word about the Beat Battle at the Casbah. Hosted by DJ Artisitic for the last few months, this DJ beatbox battle allows rookies and pros alike to compete for cash and prizes. San Diego is full of talent, but few things make you realize that more than when people freestyle on a mic. Enjoy your Tuesday!
