Sounds Like San Diego: September 16

After the San Diego Music Thing, it's a little bit difficult to imagine even more shows on Sunday, but I realize that not everyone attended or participated, and maybe you're looking for some fun ways to spend your Sunday besides watching big men throw around an inflated pigskin. By day, you can head to the Mad Decent Block Party in the Petco Park parking lot. Featuring some of the hottest names in EDM and DJ culture, this is sure to bring out the colorfully dressed and body-painted beauties. With Major Lazer headlining the whole shindig, this one is going to be a winner. By night, those seeking some sultry female stylings should head to the Casbah, where locals Natasha Kozaily and Gayle Skidmore set the stage for Quebec's Coeur de Pirate, whose beautiful vocals and piano will mesmerize the crowd. This won't be a rock show, but rather a quiet night where, with an observant crowd, you should be able hear a pin drop in the Casbah.
