Mason Jennings returns to San Diego to play an all-ages show at the San Diego Woman's Club.

If you have the lucky lifestyle that allows for flexible work hours, you can pretty much enjoy music from noon till 2 a.m. in San Diego today. Kick off your day with the inaugural San Diego Music & Technology Conference. Much like North Park Music Thing, the conference offers music showcases as well as panels covering music, technology, blogging, social media and the future of music. This event, however, has a stronger focus on electronic music and has world-renowned DJs instead of local music. The conference and "daylife" event takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel.

From the SDMTC, you can head up to the San Diego Woman's Club to catch an all-ages performance by Mason Jennings. His easy breezy music always does well in sunny San Diego, and it's fitting that he's on Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records label.

The show will get out early, which means you still have time to do it up with some of the SDMTC late-night events, catch Jeff The Brotherhood over at the Casbah, Tropical Depression down the street at Tin Can, or you can come hang with me at West Coast Tavern for Republic of Letters, who will be playing a stripped-down set.
