I personally have my fingers in lots of little music pockets around San Diego, and so sometimes there's a rare night when I am responsible for booking and promoting two shows that counter one another. While I'll hopefully be speeding from one venue to another, you can check out the soulful acoustic rock of Trevor Garrod and Black Sands at West Coast Tavern while sipping on some mules and digesting delicious food, or you can swing down to the Casbah for PBR and the face-melting rock & roll of Everready, the Bertos and the Regressions. The evening should appeal to the 'Awesomefesters' and anyone looking for a bit of a sloppy fun Thursday night.
