X Ambassadors headline FM 94.9's Indie Jam at the Oceanside Pier on Sept. 10.

The weekend couldn't be more perfect, which is all the more reason to head up to Oceanside for the annual Indie Jam. Headlined by X Ambassadors -- who not so long ago were playing free lunchtime shows and were just that band in the Jeep commercial -- this fest brings together some of the freshest in alt music and to play this relatively intimate festival usually bodes well for them growing sizable in the next few years. Get there early because you don't want to miss Wind & the Wave. Meanwhile, Trouble in the Wind come out of the woodwork with their first Casbah show in ages, Blondie is long sold out at the Observatory and Anger Flares brutalize Soda Bar.
