In most worlds, someone who writes about music every day would go on and on about Kasabian and how they're super awesome and how it's been a while since we've seen them in town, et cetera, et cetera. However, this is San Diego and it's SoundDiego, and I can't not tell you that my buddy and colleague Dustin Lothspeich and his band Old Tiger are playing at the Casah on Thursday. It's been some time since the band played; he's been exploring other projects and such, but the band is back and with a killer lineup including New Kinetics and Oh Spirit!, this is a great night to hang with locals at the Casbah. Of course, there is Kasabian, too. And they're awesome. Maybe you can make it to both?
